What areas do you serve?
We serve 32 cities across Contra Costa County, the Tri-Valley, and the Oakland–Berkeley corridor — including Antioch (our home base), Brentwood, Oakley, Pittsburg, Concord, Walnut Creek, Danville, San Ramon, Pleasanton, Oakland, and more. See our Service Areas page for the full list.
Do you offer weekly and bi-weekly maintenance?
Yes. Most residential and commercial clients are on a weekly or bi-weekly schedule for mowing, edging, pruning, bed maintenance, and seasonal cleanup. Billing is monthly and predictable.
How do I get a free estimate?
Submit the estimate form on our website with your contact info, property address, and the type of work you need. We typically respond within one business day to discuss the project and schedule a visit if needed.
Are you licensed, bonded, and insured?
Yes. Barajas Garden Service is licensed (CA #1067208), bonded, and insured, with an A+ BBB rating. We’ve been family-owned and operated in the Bay Area since 1994.
Do you comply with local gas leaf blower bans?
Yes. In cities that restrict or prohibit gas-powered leaf blowers — including Berkeley, Oakland, Emeryville, Lafayette, Pleasanton, and Walnut Creek — we use battery-powered electric equipment.
What landscaping projects do you handle?
Beyond weekly maintenance, we do landscape remodels and specialties: artificial turf, sod, irrigation systems, drainage (including French drains), wood fences and gates, retaining walls, and related hardscape work for homes and commercial sites.
Do you serve commercial properties?
Yes. We maintain and remodel grounds for offices, retail, HOAs, schools, churches, and industrial sites — with reliable schedules and one vendor for both maintenance and projects.
Can you help with drought-friendly or low-water yards?
Yes. Many clients choose artificial turf, drip irrigation upgrades, or planting changes to cut water use while keeping the property green and tidy. Tell us your goals on the estimate form and we’ll recommend options that fit your site.
